Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Gradient AI Labs website and its educational content, tools, and services (together, the "Service"), operated by Rishal ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

Gradient AI Labs is an individually-operated educational platform, currently offering course-aligned AI learning content, starting with Machine Learning Techniques. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of IIT Madras or the BS in Data Science & Applications program — course content is independently written and paced alongside that syllabus for the convenience of students following it.

2. The Service

Gradient AI Labs provides educational content (written material, practice problems, interactive exercises, and quizzes), delivered through the website. Some content is offered free of charge (including during any "early access" period stated on the site); some content may require payment, as described on the relevant program/course page at the time of purchase.

3. Accounts

Creating an account is optional. Where offered, it exists to sync your progress across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know at the contact email below if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Payments and access

Where a course or program is paid, the price shown on the site at the time of purchase applies. Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway (currently Razorpay); we do not store your card or banking details ourselves. Upon successful payment, you get access to the purchased content for personal, non-commercial, non-transferable use. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or paid content access with others, or redistribute, resell, or publicly republish course content without permission.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Educational content — no guarantee of outcomes

Course content is provided to help you learn and prepare — including, where noted, for specific university courses or exams. We do our best to keep content accurate and well-explained, but we don't guarantee any particular exam result, grade, or outcome, and content may contain errors we haven't caught yet. If you spot one, please tell us — we'll fix it.

7. Intellectual property

All course content, text, graphics, and interactive material on the Service is owned by Gradient AI Labs (or its licensors) unless otherwise stated, and is provided for your personal learning use only.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including exam or academic outcomes.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves (for example, as paid programs launch). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
